Colossals

Lore

🌌 The Spirits of Creation

The Colossals are ancient, disembodied spirits that harnessed the power of creation to shape the Monster World. They were the ones who gave life to the lands and helped Monsters develop the musical harmony that defines their world today.

💡 Creative Testing in the Pocket Dimension

To test their abilities, the Colossals ventured into a Pocket Dimension—a sandbox for experimenting with their powers. Here, they created Ethereal monsters, where they used materials like bubblerite and Krystillium to fashion new beings and the life-giving formula called the Spark of Life. This led to the creation of prototypes, like Monculus, and the Ethereal Elements.

🔥 Building the Continent and Beyond

Using their newfound abilities, the Colossals turned their attention back to the Monster World, drawing energy from the Living Core and the Stablo Mjehurića. They crafted the Continent, a massive landmass where the first Element, Fire, was born. This Element gave rise to the Natural Elements, with each element getting its own land, except for Fire, which instead had a volcano at the heart of the Monster World. Known as the Living Core.

The Spirit of Creation

The Colossals often describe their creative process as being guided by a mysterious ‘Spirit of Creation.’ This spirit, depicted in ancient artworks as a kindly old figure attuned to nature, whispered ideas and inspiration to the Colossals while they shaped the Monster World. The spirit provided a calming hum, which acted as a harmonious backdrop to their work. Inspired by this imagery, the Colossals envisioned themselves as the guardians of the Monster World, long before the Cataclysm brought this idea to reality.
