1: [🕵️‍♂️ A Shy Scientist’s Journey]
Dr. Wardin E. Spurrit, a reserved naturalist from London, England, became the first known human to make contact with the Monster World. Born in the late 1800s, Wardin’s life took a dramatic turn when he discovered strange radio frequencies that led him to the world of the Singing Monsters. Despite his shy demeanor, Wardin’s scientific curiosity drove him to explore the Monster World using his invention, the Separating Existence Widget (S.E.W.), a device that allowed him to bypass the dimensional barrier known as The Seam.

2: [🔍 Discovering New Creatures]
Wardin was fascinated by the Monsters’ world and theorized that different environments would give rise to new variants of Monsters, adapted to more extreme conditions. His journal detailed the existence of what we now call Epic Monsters, creatures whose evolution had been shaped by the unique and often harsh habitats of the Monster World. Wardin’s keen observations set the groundwork for understanding the diversity of these musical beings.

3: [📻 Tuning into the Unknown]
Wardin’s discovery of the Monster World began with his experimentation on radio frequencies from different dimensions. He believed that these sounds hinted at the presence of life beyond what humans knew. Wardin used his device, the S.E.W., to travel across the dimensional seam known as The Rift, but on his way to the Monster World, he lost the device, making his journey a one-way trip. The Rift still opens portals between the Human and Monster Worlds, most notably near Canada, where Big Blue Bubble Inc. is located.

4: [🎙️ A Recorded Legacy]
In one of Wardin’s final transmissions, he recorded an interview with himself, reflecting on the Monsters he had encountered. He tried to upload this recording to a platform that resembles YouTube, but the file became distorted and fragmented, leaving his message unclear. However, fragments of his voice and research were recovered over time, giving the world glimpses of his groundbreaking discoveries about the Monsters’ biology and ecology.

5: [👤 Disappearance into the Rift]
Wardin mysteriously vanished after entering the Monster World in the early 20th century, never to be seen again in the human world. Some speculate that drinking the Living Ocean’s water transformed Wardin into a Monster himself, but this remains unconfirmed. The Monsters erected a statue in his honor, attempting to capture his likeness and spirit. Although Wardin was shy about being photographed, this monument stands as a testament to his legacy.

6: [🛠️ The Tools of Travel]
The invention that allowed Wardin to breach the dimensional barrier was the S.E.W., a device capable of opening The Seam. However, after its loss in The Rift, the S.E.W. continued to function erratically, creating unpredictable portals. To help locate these portals, Monster Handlers now use the Portal Indicating Teleporter Helmet (P.I.T.H.), which traces the paths Wardin had once discovered. Wardin’s journal, entrusted to Monster-Handler Matt, revealed more insights into the nature of these interdimensional gateways.

7: [🌊 A Monster of the Sea?]
One of the most curious rumors about Wardin is that he may have accidentally transformed into a Monster after drinking the water of the Living Ocean. While the exact nature of his transformation is unknown, some believe that this explains the existence of multiple Spurrit-like creatures within the Monster World. Regardless, Wardin’s contributions to both worlds continue to resonate, even if his whereabouts remain a mystery.
