The first (and sometimes only) friend of every shy little Strombonin is its mollusk companion, the Strombone. Naturally inclined to cold climates, Strombones are drawn to the frosty temperature of incubating Strombonin eggs and lie in wait until their hatching day. Once born, this unlikely duo becomes inseperable [sic]. The Strombone's friendship helps build Strombonin's confidence and acts as an emotional armor - or "snail mail," one might say.
